Annemarie Laudanski, PhD
I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Wilson Lab funded by a Killam Postdoctoral fellowship at Dalhousie University. My main research interests lie in the application of wearable technologies and machine learning techniques to facilitate research in non-laboratory settings. Our research intends to build upon previous findings of relational associations between individuals’ movements and post-surgical outcomes to identify key mobility information and derive a way of obtaining and interpreting this information in any clinical setting. I obtained my BASc (2011; Mechanical Engineering) and MASc (2013; Biomedical Engineering) from Queen’s University and my PhD (2022; Kinesiology) from the University of Waterloo. When not researching, I love to bake, read, and travel any chance I get!
