About us

The Wilson Orthopaedic Biomechanics Lab at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, is a multidisciplinary research environment that focusses on innovative biomedical engineering research to advance orthopaedic patient care.

We develop and use advanced biomechanical and statistical/computational modeling to provide insight into the mechanical pathways of osteoarthritis development and progression, with an emphasis on optimizing and personalizing orthopaedic surgical treatment strategies for advanced osteoarthritis.
