Owen Lindsay
I am a Biomechanics Research Associate at Dalhousie University. I recently obtained a MSc from the University of Calgary’s interdisciplinary Wearable Technology Specialization, where I validated a novel vibration-emitting smartphone application for remote monitoring of age-related neuropathy.
Building on previous experience testing and building wearable technology, including pressure-array and IMU instrumented footwear insoles, my current work aims to support the creation of remote patient monitoring strategies for osteoarthritis patients.
In my spare time, I enjoy expanding my technical skillset in digital design and computer programming through online courses. You may also find me on walks with my dog, Samosa, or playing a variety of sports, including beach volleyball, basketball, tennis, squash, and golf.
