Nicholas Laflamme

I completed my undergraduate and master's degrees at the University of Ottawa obtaining a BASc in biomedical mechanical engineering, BSc in computing technology and an MASc in mechanical engineering.

My current PhD work focuses on developing artificial intelligence and computational modeling methods to support personalized knee replacement surgery. By combining medical imaging, biomechanics, wearable sensor data, and robotic surgical information, I aim to improve surgical planning and better understand how surgical decisions influence patient outcomes.

Outside of the lab, I'm an avid entrepreneur and love to cook, travel, lift weights and swim.
