Translational tools for clinical uptake
Driving system-level change through patient-level insights
By translating complex biomechanical and movement data into accessible, actionable formats, our work supports clinicians in making informed decisions tailored to each patient. These tools are designed to integrate seamlessly into healthcare workflows, improving the efficiency, personalization, and equity of musculoskeletal care at both the individual and system level.
Enabling smarter care pathways for knee osteoarthritis.
We are developing clinical tools that integrate remote monitoring with in-clinic, high-fidelity assessment systems to support timely and personalized care for individuals with knee osteoarthritis. Our approach includes wearable technologies that detect early mobility deficits and trigger responsive alerts, keeping patients out of clinics until intervention is truly needed, while enabling proactive identification of those at highest risk.
Our instrumented clinical spaces enable high-fidelity biomechanical assessments when in-person evaluation is necessary. Together, these systems are designed to reduce reliance on reactive, high-cost care pathways and instead support data-driven prioritization, ensuring timely access to treatment for those who need it most.
